Before you can add Alternate Exercises in a Workout, the Alternates have to be provided with the Exercise -
1. To add Alternate Exercises in a Workout, open the workout and click on the "pencil" to start editing it.
2. When you add any exercise in the workout, for which the alternates exist, it will auto-import those alternates.
3. You can manage these alternates by clicking on the alternate tag
4. The alternate exercises' default configurations will be the same as the primary exercises'. For example, if the Primary exercise (Cable Hammer Curl(F)) uses the tracking field - Reps+Weight, all the alternates will use the same tracking fields.
You can change this behaviour by checking the first checkbox Use Different tracking fields for alternates. Doing this will allow you to choose different tracking fields for the alternate exercises. You can choose between - Reps / Duration / Reps + Weights.
5. If you don’t want to show the alternates for a specific exercise in a workout, you can simply check the second checkbox Disable Alternates. Please note that this will disable the alternates for the selected exercise only in the currently selected workout.
6. You can also disable a specific exercise as an alternative in this workout.
