INTRODUCTION: Video calls are a convenient way for trainers and clients to connect, discuss fitness goals, and conduct virtual training sessions. FitBudd offers easy-to-use features for scheduling, booking, and managing video calls. Here’s everything you need to know:
Enable Video Calling in Your Payment Plan
In FitBudd, you can enhance your client-trainer interactions by enabling the video calling feature in your payment plans. This feature allows you to conduct one-on-one video sessions with your clients through the in-built Video calling feature, making it easier to provide personalized guidance and support.
To enable video calling in your payment plan, follow the step-by-step guide below:
Step 1: Log in to your FitBudd trainer dashboard and click on the "Payment Plan" section from the main menu on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 2: Find the specific Payment Plan to which you would like to add the video calling feature, scroll down to find the "Appointments Info" option. Click on the pencil icon next to the "Appointments Info" option to edit the settings.
Step 3: Once you have accessed the "Appointments Info" settings, Toggle on "
1 on 1 Sessions" button.
Step 4: Now click on the "Select Duration" drop-down, to define the video call duration. Choose the desired call duration from the drop-down list. You can select a minimum call duration of 15 minutes or a maximum call duration of 60 minutes.
Step 5: After selecting the call duration, enter the number of video calls you would like to assign to the payment plan. You have the flexibility to choose from three options:
a. One-time Call: Assigns a single video call in total.
b. Per Week: Assign the specified number of video calls to your clients every week.
c. Per Month: Assign the specified number of video calls to your clients every month.
Step 6: Once you have selected the call duration and the number of calls, click on the "Save" button to save the changes.
Congratulations! You have successfully enabled video calling in your payment plan. Your clients will now have access to the specified number of video calls based on the selected duration (one-time, per week, or month).
Additional Information:When your clients schedule a video call, you will receive a notification on your registered email address. To join the video call, you will receive a "Join Video Call Now" notification on your dashboard screen approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled call time. Your clients will use their applications to join the call. |
Important NoteVideo calling is available for payment plans that have this feature enabled. Make sure you have added the appropriate number of video calls to the selected payment plan. Clients need to purchase the payment plan with video calling enabled to access this feature. |
How to Book a Video Call with a Client From the Dashboard?
Trainers can easily schedule video calls with their clients through FitBudd using two simple methods.
Method 1: Through Client's Profile
Access Client's Profile: Navigate to the client's profile on the FitBudd dashboard.
Schedule Call: Click on the hamburger icon located towards the right side of your screen. Choose 'Schedule a Video Call' from the dropdown menu.
Enter Details: Input the date, time, and duration of the video call.
Confirmation: Both you and your client will receive email notifications regarding the scheduled call on their registered email address.
Client/Trainer Notification:
Method 2: Via 'Video Calls' Section
Access Video Calls Section: In the 'Appointments' section of the dashboard, locate and click on the 'Schedule Appointment' button positioned at the top right corner of the screen.
Select Client: Choose the client for whom you want to schedule the call and click 'Select.'
Enter Details: Fill in the specifics of the video call session. Click on 'Book' to finalize and schedule the call.
Notification: Both you and your client will receive email notifications confirming the scheduled call.
Connect/Sync your Google Calendar to Fitbudd
Your Google Calendar can be connected to your Fitbudd calendar and will allow you to make sure that there are no double bookings.
To connect your calendar -
1. Click on the "LIVE" section on the main panel.
2. Select "Configuration" tab and click on "connect"
3. Choose an account you would like to sync your calendar with.
4. Select "Continue" and follow the prompts.
5. Click on Allow to Sync your google calendar with your Fitbudd's calendar.
6. Your Google Calendar is now synced. It is 2-way sync on Fitbudd. If a time slot is already booked on your Google calendar, FitBudd will not allow your clients to book a call with you during that time.
NOTE: The FitBudd calendar doesn’t show you that the time is blocked, but it will not allow your clients to book in that time slot. Hence, you don't need to manage 2 calendars. You only need to manage your Google calendar which in turn can be linked with multiple services. |
