How to Connect FitBudd With Google Health (Health Connect)

Connecting your FitBudd account with Google Health (Health Connect) allows your workouts, steps, calories, and other activity data to sync seamlessly. Follow the steps below to get everything set up in just a few minutes.

Note: To enable Health Connect, the trainer must submit a support request. It will then be activated from the backend.


📱 Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open Your FitBudd App

  • Launch the FitBudd app on your Android device.


2. Go to Your Profile

  • Tap on the Profile icon located at the bottom/right of the screen.


3. Select Connected Apps

  • Scroll down and tap on Connected Apps.

  • You will see a list of apps you can integrate with FitBudd.



4. Choose “Health Connect”

  • Tap on Health Connect (Google Health) from the list.



5. Enable All Permissions

To ensure complete and accurate syncing:

  • Tap Allow Permissions.

  • Enable all toggles for data sharing (steps, workouts, sleep, heart rate, etc.).

  • Confirm by tapping Allow when prompted.



6. You’re All Set!

Your FitBudd app will now automatically sync data from Google Health/Health Connect.



📝 Important Notes

  • Syncing may take a few minutes after setup.

  • Make sure Health Connect is installed on your device (it usually comes pre-installed on most Android devices).

  • If data does not sync, try refreshing the app or restarting your phone.
