Understanding “Video Calling User Hours” on FitBudd
Overview
“User Hours” represent the total time your clients spend attending live sessions hosted by you on the FitBudd App — whether it’s a 1-on-1 Session, a Group Class or a Live Connect session ( only available in Elite plan)
Each user attending for one hour counts as 1 user hour.
What Counts as a User Hour?
A user hour = one user × one hour of live video participation.
Examples:
A 1-hour 1-on-1 session with 1 client and 1 trainer = 2 user hour.
A 1-hour group class with 10 clients and 1 trainer = 11 user hours.
A 30-minute group class with 4 clients and 1 trainer = 2.5 user hours (5 × 0.5 hr).
User Hour Limits by Plan
Plan | Included User Hours / Month | Used For | Overage Charge |
Pro / Super Pro | 50 user hours | In-App 1-on-1 Sessions and Group Classes | $0.5 per user hour beyond 50 |
Elite | As per Contract | In-App 1-on-1 Sessions, Group Classes, and Live Connect | $0.5 per user hour beyond limit mentioned in Contract |
Examples to Understand Usage
Example 1: 1-on-1 Sessions
You conduct 10 personal sessions, each lasting 1 hour.
➡️ 10 sessions × 1 client × 1 Trainer x 1 hour = 20 user hours used.
You still have 30 user hours left on a Pro/Super Pro plan.
Example 2: Group Class
You host a 1-hour group class with 8 clients attending.
➡️ 8 clients × 1 trainer x 1 hour = 9 user hours used.
If you conduct 10 such classes in a month, that’s 90 user hours total.
Example 3: Mixed Activities
Activity | Participants ( client+ Trainer) | Duration | User Hours Used |
1-on-1 session | 2 | 1 hour | 2 |
Group class | 5 | 1 hour | 5 |
Group class | 7 | 30 mins | 3.5 |
Total Usage | — | — | 10.5 user hours |
You’ve consumed 10.5 out of 50 (Pro/Super Pro) .
Overage Charges (Beyond Your Plan Limit)
If your usage exceeds your monthly included user hours:
Limit | Usage | Extra User Hours | Charge |
50 | 75 | 25 | 25 × $0.5 = $12.50 |
Overage charges are calculated only for hours used beyond your plan limit.
🔍 Quick Reference
1 user hour = 1 user (Trainer/Client) attending for 1 hour
Multiple clients and Trainers = multiple user hours, even in the same session.
