Cast Workouts on Apple TV/ Google TV

Casting workouts to your Apple TV or using Google Cast can enhance your exercise experience by allowing you to follow along on a larger screen. Whether you're following workout videos, using fitness apps, or streaming exercise classes, casting enables you to view content on a bigger display, making it easier to follow instructions and stay motivated.

This guide will walk you through the steps to cast workouts to Apple TV, Google TV, or Google Cast.

Steps to Cast Workouts to the Big Screen:

1. Ensure Both Devices are Connected to the Same Wi-Fi Network: Make sure your smartphone and Big Screen are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

2. Start the Workout on the Training App: Open the training app and start the workout on your phone.

3. Find the AirPlay Button: Look for the Cast button on the top left of the workout screen.

4. Select Your Screen: Choose the option you want to use to cast your video.

Tip 1: AirPlay is available only on iPhones, whereas Chromecast is available on both Android and iOS devices.

Tip 2: When using Chromecast on Apple iOS 14+, it will prompt for permission before loading the list of devices. Once permission is granted, it won't ask again in the future.

5. Start Casting: Once selected, your workout content will start casting on your big screen.

6. Control Playback: You can control playback (play, pause, etc.) directly from your phone or the big screen. Both will have these options.

NOTE: Contact support@fitbudd.com if you have Vimeo videos in your workouts as it requires a setup process.
