FitBudd allows data from Garmin Connect to be synced via Apple Health / Health Connect by Google.

How Do I Enable or Disable Sharing With Apple Health? Follow the instructions below to enable or disable sharing data from Garmin Connect to Apple Health.

  1. Open the Apple Health app.

  2. Select Summary (bottom left).

  3. Select your Profile Picture (top right).

  4. Select Apps under Privacy.

  5. Select the Connect app.

  6. Toggle Categories on or off.

Once sharing is enabled, the Health app will only display previously recorded data from up to two weeks before sharing is enabled.

How Is Data Transferred From Garmin Connect to Apple Health?

Once Garmin Connect sharing is enabled in Apple Health, data will begin syncing to the Apple Health app after each successful device sync with the Garmin Connect app. Data will only be sent to Apple Health while the Garmin Connect app is open in the foreground. If the app is closed or sent to the background, the data transfer to Apple Health will not complete until a successful sync of the device while the Garmin Connect app is open.

On Android, the data syncing from Garmin Connect can be done via third-party apps. The most popular app is Health Connect

  2. Select Garmin as the base sync source app

  3. Select Health Connect as the destination app

  4. Accept the declaration of consent

  5. Initialise Garmin Connection

  6. Give Authorization

  7. Allow permissions
