Add Recipes

On FitBudd, you can add your recipes with videos, written instructions, and PDFs. To get started follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Navigate to the "Nutrition" section and click on "Recipes".

2. Tap the blue '+' button at the bottom of the centre panel.​


3. Fill in the required information such as Name, Tags, Serving Size, Cooking Time, Description, Nutrition & Serving info, Recipe Media, and Attachment.


5. Once done, click on "Add to My Library" to save the changes.


6. Once saved, the Recipe will be added to your Library. Now, click on the "+" icon in the Ingredients section to add all the ingredients.

7. To add ingredients, select the "+ Add Ingredients" option.

8. You will be directed to the food items library, where you can access your food items library, this includes manually added items and imported items from the Fitbudd database, and the FitBudd food library database.

9. Click on "FitBudd library" to select ingredients from the vast nutrition database and use the search function to find specific ingredients.

10. Once you find the ingredient, customize the servings as required by clicking on "Add Custom Serving" at the bottom of the ingredient page.

11. Choose the serving name (e.g., cup, bag, bar) and enter the serving size equivalence (e.g., 1 cup equals how many grams).


12. After adding the custom serving, click on "Add to my library".

13. Repeat the process for other ingredients and click on "Done" when finished.


14. Now, click on the ‘+’ icon to add preparation steps to the recipe in the "How to Prepare" section. Provide the required instructions in a step-by-step format.

15. Provide the required instructions in a step-by-step format.

16. Once all steps are added, click on "Done".

17. Congratulations! You have successfully created a recipe for your clients.
