Create a Structured Workout

The first step of adding exercises to a workout is creating a workout in the Fitness Section.

1. Select "Workouts" under the fitness section of your dashboard. Click on the 'Blue "+" icon' button visible at the bottom of the workout section.

2. You will see a dialogue box through which you can add two types of workouts.

1. Structured Workout: You will be able to add exercises to this workout in the next steps, before that you are supposed to create the introduction of this workout.

To do so please add Reference Name > Display Name > Select the type of the workout > Select the intensity of the workout and lastly add the description of the workout as needed and click on "Next"

  • On the Next screen, you will be able to Add the exercises to this Structured workout. Click on the "Add Exercise" option on the screen.

  • Search for the exercises you would like to add either from your Library or from the fitbudd exercise database library.

  • You can select the exercise of your choice from the below options and start creating your structured workout, you can also add two or more exercises in a group or in a single segment.

  • You can specify the number of sets in the box next to 'Sets' on the extreme left and can enable rest after each exercise if needed. You can also add different rest after the last set.

  • Choose the type of set from the dropdown at the extreme right in each segment from multiple options as shown in the reference picture below.

  • With the help of the tracking field & secondary tracking field, you can specify the repetition of each exercise added either in fixed counts or in a range or as per each set. You can also enable the option to allow your clients to log weight with reps or specify the weights for your clients as per each set by enabling the secondary tracking field. Please refer to the picture below for a better understanding.

  • Click on Add Exercises and repeat this process to add more exercises and build the workout. You can also reorder the segments if needed with help of the Reorder Segments feature on your right, once done click on Save & Close, and your structured workout is ready.


2. Follow-Along Video Workout: You will be able to add a follow-along video to this workout in the next step, before that you are supposed to create the introduction of this follow-along video workout.

To do so please add Reference Name > Display Name > Select the type of the workout > Select the intensity of the workout and lastly add the description of the workout as needed and click on "Next"

  • On the Next Screen, you will be able to add the Equipment & Target Area, from the equipment drop-down search for the equipment utilised in your workout for your clients to prepare themselves with those types of equipment as required.

  • You can also define the Target muscle area for this follow-along video workout from the drop-down as shown in the picture below.

  • The next step is to upload the Workout video from your computer's storage. The size of the video file should be less than or up to 2GB only, and the frame size required is 1:1. You can upload high-definition or 4K quality videos on the dashboard. You can also add a photo as a thumbnail for your workout video from the workout thumbnail feature available on your right side.

  • You can add a youtube video link as well, however, please make sure the youtube video's privacy settings are available to the public.

  • Similarly, you can also add a Vimeo video link as well.

  • Once done click on Save, and your follow-along video workout is ready for your clients.
