Food-based Meal Plans

To create a Food-based Meal Plan -

1. Go to the 'Nutrition' section in the main menu panel. Select the Meal Plans option and Click on the blue '+' button placed at the bottom right in the centre column.

2. Fill in the details of the meal plan in the window that opens up. You can select the Diet Type from the given options and specify 'Food Based' in Meal Type.

3. Click on 'Done' to add this meal plan to the library. Click on the 'Add Meals' button or the second pencil button visible at the extreme right in the second segment.

4. Click on 'Add Meal Category'.

5. Select the meal category for example BREAKFAST and meal times and click on 'Add'

6. You can now click on the 'Add More' button beside each category to begin adding the food items from the Food items database.

7. You can search for the food item you are looking for and all options from your food library (from your Food Items section) will come up. Select the one you want to add and click on 'Save'.

8. Once done, add the portion size to be consumed in the box placed at the extreme right against each food item. Total calories and bifurcation of other nutritional contents get calculated based on the information you enter.

9. Click on 'Save' to add the meal plan to your meal library. You can then assign this meal plan directly to your clients or create a meal schedule as well.
