With FitBudd, you can fully customize your onboarding questionnaire using multiple question types, allowing every new client to provide the information you need before starting their training plan.

Steps to Create an Onboarding Questionnaire:

Step 1: Open the Onboarding Questionnaire Settings from your FitBudd Dashboard.

  • Navigate to Settings

  • Select Onboarding Questionnaire

This section allows you to create and manage the questions that every new client will complete during onboarding.

Step 2: Edit Your Questionnaire

You can update your onboarding questionnaire anytime by adding, removing, or rearranging questions based on your coaching requirements.

Step 3: Add New Questions

Click the + button located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Each question can be customized to collect the specific information you need from your clients.

Step 4: Choose the Question Type

FitBudd supports multiple answer formats for different coaching scenarios.

Free Text

Allow clients to type detailed responses in their own words.

Best for:

  • Medical history

  • Fitness goals

  • Lifestyle habits

  • Additional notes


Scale Based

Clients can rate their answer using a numerical scale.

Best for:

  • Motivation level

  • Energy levels

  • Stress level

  • Confidence

  • Sleep quality


Choice Based

Offer predefined options for faster responses.

Single Select

Clients choose one option.

Examples:

  • Gender

  • Primary fitness goal

  • Activity level

Multi Select

Clients can select multiple answers.

Examples:

  • Available equipment

  • Dietary preferences

  • Fitness interests

  • Training days


Measurements

Allow clients to enter body measurements.

Examples include:

  • Weight

  • Height

  • Waist

  • Chest

  • Arms

  • Hips

  • Thighs

These measurements help track client progress over time.

Step 5: Save Your Questionnaire

Once you've finished adding your questions, click Save.

Your onboarding questionnaire is now ready, and every new client will complete it during their onboarding process.
