Activity Challenge

The Activity Challenge is a great way to engage clients through movement-based goals like steps, distance, or calories burned — all trackable from their fitness devices and the client app.

Much like the Body Transformation Challenge, this feature is built for flexibility, accountability, and fun.

🛠️ Setting Up the Challenge (Trainer Dashboard)

The setup flow is almost identical to the Body Transformation Challenge and includes the following:

Step 1:

Go to Challenges > Select Activity in the type of Challenge dropdown.

Select how clients will be ranked on the challenge leaderboard. You can choose one of the following:

  • Total Steps Taken

  • Total Flights Climbed

  • Total Distance Travelled (in Km)

  • Total Active Energy Burned (in Calories)

Note: Clients will see their cumulative totals on the leaderboard, along with their rank compared to other participants.

Step 2:

Set key dates, including:

  • Enrollment Period (start and end)

  • Challenge Start Date & Duration (e.g., 4 or 12 weeks)

  • Grace Period (optional time after challenge ends for wrap-up)

These will be reflected on the client app with countdowns and progress bars.

Step 3

Decide whether to:

  • Enable Progress photos for

  • Enable a group chat for motivation and peer interaction

  • Allow access to challenge updates, rules, or reminders

Step 4:

Set Pricing Access: Choose which membership or training plan unlocks access to this challenge. This allows you to run exclusive challenges for specific client segments.

Step 5: Add Info & Launch

Include any final details or instructions for participants (e.g., recommended daily targets, device sync info), and then activate the challenge.

Once live, the leaderboard will automatically update based on client activity data.

🔁 A Note on Device Sync : Ensure your clients sync their fitness devices (such as Apple Health and Google Fit / Health Connect) with the app so that their steps, distance, and energy metrics are accurately captured.

By following these simple steps to structure your Activity Challenge, you’ll create an engaging, high-energy experience that keeps your clients moving — and coming back for more.

Client App Experience

Once your Activity Challenge is live, your clients will get a smooth, goal-driven experience inside the app — all powered by their synced fitness data.

They’ll see their challenge schedule, weekly progress prompts, and their goal, such as gaining or losing weight.

Visual progress bars display their progress, like showing 75% of a 20 kg goal completed.

Clients can optionally upload transformation photos from Day 1 onward based on the check-in settings done by the trainer, which can be kept private or shared with the group. If photo sharing is enabled, clients can view each other's progress photos and engage by liking and motivating one another.

Tracking Progress

Clients can view a visual progress bar based on the ranking metric you've set. For example:

  • Distance Goal: “Distance Covered: 24.6 km” with a bar showing 65% complete

  • Or for steps: “Total Steps: 18,235”
