Creating Message Drips

Message drips allow you to automate your communication flow by scheduling a series of messages to be sent to your clients over a specified period. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up a message drip using the provided images as a reference.

Step 1: Create a New Message Drip

  1. To begin, you will first need to create a new message drip. When prompted, you'll be asked to provide a name for your drip.

  2. In the "Reference Name" field, enter a descriptive name for your message drip (e.g., "Message Campaign for Pro Clients").

Click Save to continue.

Step 2: Start Adding Messages

1. After naming your message drip, you'll be taken to a new screen. Initially, there will be no messages added yet.

2. Click the Start Adding button to begin building your communication flow.


Step 3: Choose Your Message Type

1. Next, you will be presented with various message types you can add to your drip. Choose the type of message you want to schedule first. Options include:

  • Text Message (DM)

  • Push Notification

  • Email

  • Photo

  • Video

  • Document

  • Voice Note

Note: For coaches on the Pro and Super Pro plans, access to connect Message Drip to Flow is not included by default. To enable Message drips, you’ll need to purchase the Smart Flow Add-On (priced at $20/month for up to 20 clients, plus $1 per additional client beyond 20)

2. For this example, let's select Text Message.


Step 4: Schedule and Write Your Message

1. A new window will appear to allow you to schedule and write your message.

2. Schedule: Use the dropdown menus to define when the message should be sent.

  • Week: Select the week of the campaign (e.g., Week 1).

  • Day: Choose the specific day within that week (e.g., day 1).

  • Time: Specify the time for the message to be sent (e.g., After 1 hour).

3. Message: In the text box, write the content of your message. You can use this space to share tips, progress trackers, or motivational nudges.

4. Once you have scheduled and written your message, click Done.


Step 5: View and Add More Messages

  1. Your first scheduled message will now appear in the list.

  2. To add another message, click Add New Message at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Repeat the process of choosing a message type, scheduling, and writing the content. You can add a variety of message types (e.g., a text message with quick tips, or a photo to be sent on a specific day).

  4. The system will display a clear overview of all the messages in your drip campaign, including their scheduled time and content.


    When you are finished adding all your messages, click Save in the top right corner to finalize your message drip.

    Step 6: Use Message Drips in Automation Flows

    1. Navigate to Smart Flow > Flows, choose the specific workflow you wish to add this message drip to, then click on assignments and select the newly created message drip.
